The Aquo Reader app, reads water related data from the Dutch institute: Rijkswaterstaat.nl. Amongst other that includes tide information, but a lot of other data is available as well. The total catalogue of measurements is around 1500 items. The data follows the Aquo standard. Hence the name of Aquo Reader.
- Catalogue View: The catalogue information is pulled from rijkswaterstaat.nl and the list is presented so the user can select the specific data to present the measurement information on. After selection of a catalogue item a list of locations is presented that apply for this specific information item;
- Location View: The location information details are show including a small geographical map to show the actual location and some context. The information pulled from rijkswaterstaat is largely based on the EPSG: 25831 projection;
- The Observations View: The measurement screen display the results for the selected catalogue item and location. The user can set the periode the data and measurements needs to be fetched for. The resulting measurement information is tabulated and it also enables access to the metadata related to the observation and measurements.
- Settings View: In the settings view more information on the App can be found. Also the display mode (dark/light/follow-system) can be set.
A lot of water related information available just at a tap of your fingers. Works on both iPhone and iPad!
